Banff Day Tour

Rawson Lake

Explore Kananaskis Country the way the fur traders and original settlers did in snowshoes. We start at Upper Kananaskis Lake and head along the south shore. The trail will cross the creek and you will see the beautiful Sarrail Falls. The trail will branch away from the lake go through an old growth spruce forest to a hidden lake. Please dress in skiwear for this trip; hats, gloves, winter pants and winter boots.

Karst Spring and Watridge Lake

We start at the Mount Shark parking lot and follow an old logging road which winds through the heart of the Mount Shark ski trails to Watridge Lake. From the lake we head up to one of North America’s largest mineral springs. Don’t forget your camera the views in the Spray Lakes area are breathtaking. Please dress in skiwear for this trip; hats, gloves, winter pants and winter boots.

Grotto Canyon Icewalk & Banff Upper Hotspring

Walk on the frozen creek and experience one of the few lime stone canyons in Alberta. Come see the power of water as it carved and sculpted the canyon walls. You will see the native pictographs on the rock that has been there for more than 800 years. After our winter hike we tour the Cave and Basin in Banff National Park where the original hotspring began and finish with a luxurious soak in the hotspring. Lunch is provided. Johnston Canyon Icewalk & Banff Upper Hotspring

Hike & Skate

Experience Canadian winter fun while we hike into Grassi Lakes in Canmore where you will see two upper lakes and frozen falls. Native Pictographs can be viewed on the mountain walls.
